Day 102

I had to take Ella to the vet today. (She's okay. I was worried about something that I thought might be a symptom of the chicken bones she ate last month.) As we were driving home, Luke made this very smart observation....

Luke: Mom, you know that thing of Dad's? The sword with an eagle on top and snakes crawling up it?
Me: *Totally confused for about 30 seconds trying to wrack my brain. Then the lightbulb went off... thankfully!* Yes, I know what you are taking about.
Luke: They had one of those on the wall at the vet clinic.

If you are as confused as I was, this is what he was talking about. I'm always surprised at the details Luke remembers and pays attention to.
